Peggy Sue Millican, 66, of Rome, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017 at a local hospital.

Peggy was born on December 12, 1950, she was the daughter of the late William Louie Wrenn and the late Lillie Idell Sampson. She was a member of West Rome Baptist Church. She graduated from Sardis High School in Sardis, Alabama and got her college degree from Gadsden State College. She worked and retired as a R.N. at Redmond Regional Hospital. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Preston Millican; and her brother, Jerry Frank Wrenn.

Survivors include her daughters, Stephanie Elizabeth McBurnett and Jennifer Michelle Millican; her grandchildren, Dylan McBurnett, Ailsa Webb, Emily McBurnett and Preston Millican; her brother, William David Wrenn (Cindy); and her sisters, Pat Claiburn (Hoyt), Linda Skillman (Tom) and Martha Denmon (Steve); her nieces, Karla Wrenn, Kimberly Wrenn, Lindsay Skillman, Melissa Williams, Nicole Millican, Casey Sharpe and Beth Diprima; and her nephews, Thomas Brooks, Christopher Brooks, Shawn Wrenn, Jeff Denmon, Josh Millican and Chris Millican.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at West Rome Baptist Church with The Rev. Jared Roberts and The Rev. Ken Oates officiating. Interment will follow at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
